為所有人要求正義、保護和平等Justice and Protection for All
On May 17, millions of people around the world will mark the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia – and we want you to join the celebrations!
There’s plenty to celebrate this year – thanks to the bravery of human rights activists and members of lesbian, gay, bi, trans and intersex (LGBTI) communities in countries around the world. In the past year alone, same sex relationships have been decriminalized in Angola, India and Trinidad and Tobago. Chile, Portugal, Luxembourg, Pakistan and Uruguay have all made it easier for trans people to change their legal gender.
These and many other gains have been hard-fought and hard-won, and there’s still a long way to go. Same sex love remains a crime in 70 countries, punishable by the death penalty in seven. Trans people everywhere are at heightened risk of violence & unfair discrimination.
Change is in our hands – all of us. Visit www.unfe.org/justiceprotection to watch our new campaign video and learn more about how you can help win the battle for justice and equality for all.
Thank you for helping to spread the word – and for all you do to make the world freer and more equal for all of us.
We’ll get there – together,
Team UN Free & Equal
